Child Friendly First Easter Story / video / movie for young kids: Christianity

Are there any good Easter movies for children? What is a good First Easter movie that I could show my child ? Is there a movie that explains the crucifixion and rising again of Jesus in an easy-to-understand way?

I found this really cool and awesome short video explaining the crucifixion of Jesus and His Resurrection This is a short story of only about 5 minutes long.

I have included the video at the bottom of this post.

My six-year-old was able to understand and pay attention throughout the movie. The movie it portrays the message of Easter demonstrating the Miracles Jesus did and the importance of Jesus as The Son of God and then briefly shows the betrayal by Judas and Jesus being arrested by the soldiers. It displays in a child-friendly way the crucifixion of Jesus and why Jesus died for our sins. It goes on to show that on Sunday (Easter Sunday) Jesus rose again. 

This little movie / video got the whole message and concept across in a short easy-to-understand way. It is extremely child-friendly. The graphics or drawings are all very light-hearted and easy to take in. They are also very simple and easy to understand.

I would say that this video would suit children young as 2 or 3 years old and up.

 I definitely give this video a full 10 out of 10.
